Shear pin on slideout gear

Hi Folks,
We have a Monaco LaPalma 2005. It has PowerGear slide outs. The original shear pins that hold the gears to the shaft were replaced a while ago with unidentified auto parts.

Yesterday we had slide troubles. One of these shear pins broke. As I moved the slide to troubleshoot one of the hardened bolts through the square shaft also broke. I assume this was because the slide was not straight.
I have since put the slide in a correct position.

I would like to find the correct shear pins for the gears for this model. I recently found a Power Gear parts manual showing the pins but I am not sure which system model I have.

Any help will be most appreciated,
Thanks

Pic for pin

This looks it might be right.
Can anyone suggest a source or substitution?
Thanks

The grade of the bolt can be identified by the markings on the head .

Grade 5 if memory serves.

I have the complete Power Gear document and will look through for any specs on the roll pin sheer strength ; usually a function of the tube wall thickness.

If the bolt hole in the square shaft is elongated , a replacement bolt won't last ; remove the shaft and re-drill the proper size hole through the shaft at 90 degrees from the original ; or if the two sections of the square shaft have well over a foot of overlap , you can cut a section off the end to remove the worn out hole and drill.

Thank you for your quick reply.
The bolts through the square shaft I am not concerned with.
It is the the pin that goes thru the gear that is part of the rack and pinon assembly.
I have since ordered some from Lippert Canada but now need a temporary 1/4” something to pull the slide out in until the parts arrive (2 weeks).
Thanks for your help

Resist the temptation to use a 'hardened' bolt in those square tubes. I believe a softer Grade 5 (considered 'medium' grade) is preferred because the soft bolt acts as a shear pin which protects the electric motor.
