Pedal Mate Gas & Brake Pedeal Extenders

My pedals are electric and still don't come out far enough. I added these and took them off after a couple of years. They went right back on. I also plan on lowering the captains chair by 1 inch one of these days.

Scroll down a half page to the brake and gas pedal picture. Not cheap but well built and works great.

Mine telescopes, the pedals are electric, the seat is electric. It is just a design issue. And why is the steering wheel laid almost flat instead of upright like a car? Inquiring minds want to know.

I had the same issues and took the seat and pedestal out, cut an inch or so out of the pedestal and welded it back together. Installed the pedestal and seat and seems to have done the job for me. If you can weld or have a shop close by, it works very well. Don't be tempted to shorten too much since it will create problems for the seat (skirting, etc.). Also, it's very Important to get it back together straight. If a little crooked, it will be a lot crooked at the top of the seat.

I just unbolted the brake pedal from the firewall and installed a u channel spacer inside under the brake pedal with longer bolts. I also moved the gas (diesel) pedal further away from the brake pedal so now I'm sure I'm pressing on the "gas" and not the brake at the same time.

Look at the angle the steering column has in a car.....how would you use that angle on your coach when your sitting on or in front of the steering tires and have no forward space to lay a steering column as in a car?
