Side Entry Door. Was 1999 the last year.
When did MONACO quit making the side entry door in the high end Diesel Pusher units?

Signature Country Club, SS SD
So, Monaco planned ahead and lettered my model SS SD.
Now today that stands for "STAY SAFE" and "SOCIAL DISTANCING"!

The Monaco built Safari Panther had a middle door all the way up to 2005.

Very neat to see the mid door on your Sig. Newell coach is about the only builder today, who still sells a lot of mid entry door diesel pushers. I do think it creates a nice living room space.
The last year for the mid entry door in the Monaco Dynasty was 2001.

Did Beaver Coach (Monaco Corp) also have a mid entry door option into the early 2000s? I'm thinking maybe the Contessa?

Was just flipping through the 2001 Monaco Signature brochure and sure enough your mid entry 42SS SD floorplan is still avaiable.

I think that was the last year, I do not see it in the 2002 brochure.

I have a 2004 HR Imperial with a mid entry door. The layout is shown in that years brochure as a 40PDT model.

We have a neighbor in our Co-Op who has a 2004 mid-door EXEC. He has told me Monaco only build 6 during 2004.

It’s neat to see a mid-door thread. I call them mid-door, rather than side-door, since the front doors are technically on the side. Maybe we can petition for a mid-door DP forum?
Beaver made a mid-door Marquis in the 80’s-90’s. Not sure if any were made under Monaco ownership.
Glad to see the OP got a new trailer and drop-down hitch. That first photo was moderately disturbing.
Here’s our 2005 mid-door Alpine. I believe it was an available option on all 36’ and 40’ models from 1998-2008.

The first photo of the Legend trailer level was enhanced by the particular spot we we were parked.
Yes, the new 20' trailer draws very nice, and the M11 handles the extra with ease. We did British Columbia #3 eastbound, (the Crowsnest over five passes) off the coast last August with GCVW 46800# in high 90s* and smiled all the way.

I’ve seen a 2003 Monaco Executive with a mid entry door in RVTrader awhile ago.
