Everyone... I need to get an idea of how many people we will be feeding on Saturday the 17th in Quartzsite.
Can you chime in to let me know so I have the proper amount of food?
Thanks

MM

We are confused. Is there going to be a salmon feed on the 17th and then a potluck on the 18th? We may have missed something---

Will we be trying to catch them in the river bed as they swim upstream to Nevada, or is there another source? (Costco truck )

Don't knock those Costco salmons....having lived and fished in Oregon for 30+ years before moving to Arizona, it is much easier to stroll through Costco and buy your salmon, get a hot dog, etc...although there is something to be said for getting up really early, sitting in the rain and fishing for your salmon.

Same thing applies to you... you can get up really early - find the right river and sit in the rain to your heart's content...but I will be enjoying the snack tables at Costco!!

I for one living here in Arizona for 23 + years know for a fact that the only salmon you can catch here are the ones in the tank at the zoo or Bass Pro Shop.

To get this back on track to help out, Cheri and I will be there on the 15th and yes Saturday is Salmon and Sunday is the Pot Luck.... See everyone soon.

Doesn't look like we'll make either dinner. Hopefully, we'll be arriving in Q next Monday and will track the group down for a mini-visit.
