I have had my VMSpc for a year now and wouldn't be without one. Runs on my Dell Inspiron N5110. I have a GPS unit so run the VMSpc full screen. As others have said, lots of information and you customize it to what you want.

I just had Silverleaf install a glass dash in my 1996 Monaco Signature. All I can say is good. Makes it fun to drive. My wife say's "it just gives me more toys to play with"

I have the in dash and so far it's great. The operator is having a little trouble getting my head around all it will do, but i like what I see.

I have improved my fuel mileage just by working with the dash to make sure I always run in the optimal rpm range. It kind of takes the miles off the trip a little because you have more to do,,,LOL

Absolutely love mine. I made an excel file to converted the protocol codes to cummins codes for troubleshooting.

Here is one of the best things about the system.

When your troubleshooting while driving you can display the real time diagnostic window so when it throws a code, you can note what the MH was doing at the exact time the code is thrown.

And if you don't like what is displayed. Change it.

Would not leave home without this machine.

Would you possibly be willing to share your spreadsheet, possibly through PM or email if it can't be posted here? Thanks.

I don't know if it would get the forum in trouble or not. Here is the reason. Silverleaf can read the protocol with out problems but I don't think they are allowed to convert the SPN/FMI codes to a mfgr trouble code because it is proprietary. All my info in the file comes from
www.quickserve.cummins.com

Originally I had to suscribe to this info (100 yearly) but now I believe it is all free. If you sign up there is a SPN/FMI converter on site and it will lead you straight into the electronic trouble shooting and repair manuals. All of this info is by engine SN so only your codes and manuals will be shown.

So my info is for my engine and now that the site is free I no longer need my private database. Would only use it if internet was not available at the time of malfunction.

But if you want it send me a pm with your email and I will send it to you. I will explain more in the email.

Just beware of any promises the company makes regarding repair turnaround times. 4 times back to them for repairs and NEVER returned when promised. Last time it cost us 300.00 in freight to overnite inverter and they did not repair modules for 3 days, despite being promised a same day turn around. The worst part is each person you talk to gives you conflicting information and no one has the dececey to say "sorry for the delay".

Welcome to the forum.

Are you sure you are talking about Silverleaf??? Was not aware that they worked on inverters.

I run VMSpc on a 17" HP laptop, split the screen and run TOPO US on the other half. First thing I do when starting the coach is get both VMSpc and TOPO going before we move. Been using it is it first introduced back in 1998. Would't be without it. Twice it has alerted me to engine problems before they really became a problem.

Would not go anywhere without it. It has made me a better "fuelwise" driver.
