slide out adjustment 2012 vacationer

I just purchased a 2012 vacationer. The slide outs squeak and move some while we travel. Some folks suggested silicon on seals but I was wondering if I can tighten the slide so when I bring them in they dont move as much. Does anyone know how I can make this adjustment? Is the squeak normal?
Thank you. I'm new to all this.

Is the slide cable, gear or hydraulic driven?

It does not have cables. I believe it is gear drive as there are metal plates on the slide out that look like a gear would fit into to move it.

Malkman68, I thought mine was making to much noise and had them take a look at it since it's under warranty. Found out that most of the noise was coming from my headboard in the bedroom, it was loose and had to be tightened, should be no play in it....lol It still makes some noise but not much. If you are concerned, by all means take it in and let them know. Call Monaco and find out who they recommend to take it to. They have repair centers they consider their tier 1 service shops. Our first trip out we tested and checked anything and everything...
