Jeepsrule, so what did you do to adjust the slide? It may help others.

40 PDQ slideout

Shearing slide out bolts on the large road side slide of my 40 PDQ has been a huge problem. I have probably sheared 10-12 bolts. It is a very poor design, as the slideout contains a heavy refrigerator and only slides on plastic runners. Nothing supports the slide out. It sort of falls out and then is pushed up against the upper opening towards the end of it's travel. This has worn off the upper seal on the slideout, since it travels about 4" up against the wall at the end of its travel. I have recently installed Grade 8 bolts and will see how that works. I have sheared the shaft of one of the gears already, but could fortunately turn that around and use the other end. I like the idea of cutting a small piece of the large tubing and sliding it over the small tubing where it bolts onto the shaft and will do that, short of having a machine shop redesign the entire mechanism. It is the only thing in our Monaco that makes traveling in it unpleasant. Frustrated to say the least, and we are stuck with it!
