I finished installing my metal plate on bottom of slide. I managed to hammer it under the ramp about 1" so it wouldn't catch when returning slide. I used silicone to secure plate then used 1" screws to secure plate in place. On one side of plate I couldn't drill pilot holes as I hit a very hard surface and didn't want to press my luck. I supported the plate with 2x6 and 2x4 until silicone cured. I used silicone lub to make surface slick and slide went in no problem. We shall see if it stands test of time?

Glad you got her fixed up. I did the same to my 07 neptune about 3 months ago. Looks really nice like they came from the factory that way.
