2007 Diplomat PDQ - Two Months ago - drivers side front slide out would not retract - broken bolt - tech replaced cheap bolt with stronger pin - Today after enduring the normal grunting and groaning the slide extends in kinda a wiggling fashion and when fully extended leaves a 1 inch gap in the front by the drivers chair. Couldn't find any ideas on this forum. Also there was a post by Freemn2 in March that spoke of a TSB about a new more powerful motor. Will be contacting service on Monday - thought maybe someone might know how to find Monaco TSB's?

Presently in Prince George, B.C.

Corvetteman:

A TSB is a technical service bulletin. I dont see any on the Monaco site. I do see addendums to the manuals but that is not the same thing. Where did you find the TSB's?

Moisheh,
I don't think they are on a Monaco Customer accessable site. I may be incorrect but I think you will need to go through a dealer or Monaco Tech Support. Rob Morgan has snooped quite a bit on the Monaco site and may have uncovered a link and will respond if he has. If not a dealer or Monaco should be able to help.

Las Vegas Rambler,

I had the slide motor replaced with the more powerful one and haven't had a single problem with it since. The tech supports all seemed to know about the issue and the TSB. Good luck.

I have a PDQ floorplan and was wondering if it's possible that the need for the more powerful motor depends on what that slide has on it? For example, some PDQ's only have a dinette and sofa but others have a dinette, sofa and refrigerator, which if fully loaded would sure add some weight to one end.

I don't have enough experience yet since I just got ours but on mine I have a refrigerator, dinette with chairs and recliner. That's a big weight difference from one end to the other so if all slide mechanisms are the same I can see why there may be a problem.
