Slide out repair/ adjustment

My largest slide has the inner/ outer rails about 3/4 inch too low on one side. This seems more like a repair than an adjustment when I look at it. I hope I'm wrong. I've included pics. I appreciate any knowledge that you might pass along.

Have you checked the inside rollers? There should be at least one on each end of the pushout.

That's a flush floor slide, so there are no rollers. Does the slide go in and out without binding?

!st thing to check is any floor rot on the bottom of the slides at each end.

2nd thing to check is the full length plastic strip. It's mounted to the coach and the slide glides up and over it as you bring it in. There are blocks at each end and those blocks have been known to crack. If you gently jack up that slide about <1", you can pull down the weather strip under the slide and look in there with a flash light.

Either one of those conditions could cause the slide to drop down. And either one is fixable.

The slide is a liittle slow going over ramp but doesn't seem to bind IMO.
I'll jack up the slide and take a peek underneath as you suggested.
So the floor is basically floating and the weight is the main thing holding it in place?
I do need the Guardian plates on my slides but I think it was caught before floor rot.
Thanks for your help.

The Guardian plates can really help if you have any soft spots or early rot. Hopefully that will solve the problem.

To the floating question, it rides on that plastic/teflon full length rail. There are no rollers. The end blocks help and if you install the guardian plates, they will ride on the blocks. The motor Monaco put on that slide is a little underpowered. Lippert had an upgraded motor but they are very proud of those and want over $700, as I recall.
If the plastic blocks are damaged, they can be replaced from the inside of the coach. I don't have a part number, but if you find yours damaged, I'll see if I can find that part number.

Thanks Bill. We're on the road now but I intend to measure and order guardian plates for my slides when I get home.
