Slide-out travel lock springs...

Has anyone had the occasion to replace the springs inside the travel lock? Travel locks are on the front and rear of the driver's side [left] slide--this is the mechanism that locks the slide when the slide is closed. There are 3 extension springs in each of the locks. Would appreciate knowing where these springs may be acquired.

Not sure if this is the same but the Dewald lock system is what is on my slide. See attached part schematic. The Item #1 is the spring part number DN13052

It shows that Lippert sells these

But I contact them to confirm.

My slide out locks were in unrecoverable condition. I ordered a new pair from Sue at Veurinks RV.

If you only need springs, I would take the originals into an old fashioned hardware store and find some similar.

You will need replacement black plastic rivets for the covers.
Go to this page:
https://www.mcmaster.com/nylon-rivets
Then select rivets
About half way down the page, under Permanent Push in Blind Rivets,
select Expanding Shank, 0.158"-0.281" dia,
select black part number 90137A319
Price was $13.13 for 50

More info on the locks: https://www.irv2.com/forums/f115/sli...lp-416803.html
