No. I do NOT have a controller in the rear passenger side compartment.
I have no idea where it is...

Mine is located in the rear passenger side compartment.
Besides fuses this module has an ignition lock out relay. If it isn't working it could prevent the slide from working
I have a generator slide, it uses the same module, you could swap and see if that solves your problem if you have two. That or buy a couple relays and swap one out at a time.

Hi TRCSOONER; Just asking, noticed in all your posts about your slide not working there is no mention of checking the side control, in & out switch that is located on your panel above the passenger seat. I have a 34' Windsor with just the kitchen slide and that is where my slide in & out switch is located. Not saying you have already checked this and just did not include it in your posts. As far as I know I have no controller at all on my 34' Windsor. Just the in & out switch, the bay door inhibitors switch, I have 3 and there is just 1 relay in my right rear electrical bay. No sure the set up on a 40' with the bedroom slide. Just my thoughts after reading your posts!

Depends
One thing you could try, if the switches are the same, is to swap them for a test. I have seen just the wires unplugged on the back side of them. I have seen bad switches. You also have to have a good ground to the relay pack. It uses both power and ground switching directions as you know from your test. No matter how good your power and fuse are, if you don't have a ground, it won't work. If it just does not work after sitting a switch makes more sense. If it broke while using, then a fuse or something along those lines makes more sense. Rats and mice can be the issue on one that sat up a while. Sometimes you just have to trace wires and test several areas. If you know which two wires are going to the relays, you can apply battery power in and out there to make sure it is good from that point fwd. With a test light or meter you can compare switch function and power at them. Divide and conquer is the goal with electrical issues. Test a spot half way and depending on what you find you go one way or the other.

I could not find a wiring diagram for for a 2000 Windsor and compared it to my 2002, looks very similar.
Attached is a parts page for my front section of the passenger side electrical bay, it shows the slide controller item #6.
Also attached is the wiring diagram, it shows the slide controller but has no details on the wiring path.

In one of your previous posts you day there are relays near the slide motor. I wonder if someone has modified the slide system and installed these relays to make it work. Can you trace these wires as to where they go. Chances are they must get a signal from the slide switch. They may have put a fuse behind the panel where the switch is.
