Slide problem question

Hi guys i have a 2007 executive its been at a repair shop for a long time the slides will not go in there not giving me any info other then they had to or need to replace the chassis batteries. I'm not sure if it all 4 slides or not.

they worked when the unit was brought there.

My question is if i manually close them will they be secure enough to drive the unit. the manual Nysa it either a Lippert or a HWH and shows how to override them. But don't stated if its safe to drive lie that?

If your not sure, you could cut some 2x4s and put between the slides.

Why risk damaging the slides. Just charge or replace the batteries and bring them in normally.

Another method would be to jump start the generator or use the Battery Boost switch to start the generator. (You will probably need to do this with the main engine running.) The generator will power the inverter which will charge the batteries and should power the slides.

The large driver's side front slide has mechanical locks when in. If working properly, the locks will not allow it to move. The other slides do not have mechanical locks but should not move.
FYI: The driver's side rear slide is an electric motor and the other 3 are hydraulic.
