Slide toppers and awning replacement costs

CJs RV repair in Yuma just left, they will call back with an estimate.

I want the 3 slide toppers (1 is full wall), patio awning, and 3 window awnings replaced (material only). Has anyone had this done or something similar and have the cost?

I replaced my full wall slide topper back in the summer. I did the work myself and ordered the material form RV Slide-Out Topper Awning Replacement Fabric Installation. They have pricing on their website. The material they used was far superior to the OEM topper.

Thanks guys. I replaced a few of these in the past by myself. At this stage of the game (we're FT) I'm done with these major projects [emoji4]

CJs just call me back. Quote was $1600 for all the acrylic fabric (btw, all my awnings are Girard). Labor and tax was another $800. So for $2400 I have all brand new toppers and awnings. Prolly done it meself for a grand, but I do all my own repairs and Maint, so I just gave me a birthday present[emoji4] I was hoping to find a deal in Quartzite, just couldn't depend on getting it done there.

slide topper

Had all four slide toppers replaced last January by ShadePro out of Yuma. The young man was very nice and did very good job. Was going to have the man in Quartzsite do the job but needed to get to Yuma for dental work. Four slides for around $1200, and did the work at the casino. Will be getting a new dash cover from him in December. Can get a contact number out of MoHo if needed.

I purchased 4 Carefree replacement slide out fabric "replacements" with beads. I have them in the box but have not installed them yet. Total cost = $642.80 Material seems to be of good quality.
I purchased them from RV Slide-Out Topper Awning Replacement Fabric Installation I was very pleased working with Tyler.

I replaced two toppers from Carefree last year and then then two more just a few weeks ago. The pricing you quote was about the same as mine for all 4. And the install with two people took maybe an hour or so for two toppers. The material is very thick and durable. We followed the instructions video and it went well.

I agree with CrazyKnight. The quality and workmanship of the Stone Vos toppers are as good as it gets. Chris, the owner is a fanatic about only using the best materials available. On top of that, the warranty is by far the best.

We replaced our slide toppers with StoneVoss in 2013. They have been in and out many times. We're full timers and spend the winters in AZ and travel 6 months of the year. The SV toppers show absolutely no wear and look as good as new. I sure recommend them.

Plus Chris ( the owner) is great to work with.
