slide would not come in

07 Beaver Marquies 3 slides. Front passenger slide motor would run but slide wouldn't move. Checked and power to the valves on the motor. My 04 Marquie did same thing and it was an diode in the wireing that caused the motor to change directions. Called Beaver and they didn't think this coach had that type system. I have a power gear leveling system. After unplugging the wires to the valves to test for power it started working. Works fine now but afraid it will happen again. Anyone have any ideas?? Tough to find out what is wrong when it is working?? Any help much appreciated.

Safe travel all

This may or may not help with your problem but I've done this several times. Many years ago 4 of us were fly fishing in Feb here in AR. It was cold but still good fishing. At that time we had a 34' DS 1999. It only had one slide but it was a big one (couch/kitchen). When we decided to break camp the slide would not come in. It seemed to want to work but wouldn't move. So I lowered the MH jacks on the opposite side which created a downward slope and the slide moved right in with not single glitch.

The slide on that MH when it almost reached its full out position also dropped down so the inner edge was level with the floor. I don't know if many or any MH's these days still utilize that little added feature. When it came in it first had to lift the slide then move it in.

I think you may have a slide solenoid that is failing. We had the same thing, the motor would run but the slide was reluctant, then finally just quit. Replaced the solenoid on the pump motor under the steps and all is good. A possibility. I believe we have the same HWH slide system.
