Morning, anybody know how to remove fabric insert on wooden trim 1999 holiday rambler slideout

The cloth is glued/stapled to a luan board -- That board has metal plates about 6 inches long & 1 inch wide glued to it -- This plate has spikes that drive into the headboard -- Take a dinner knife & pry gently under the insert -- Bill Willard
