Slideout is leaking again and I think I have finally found the problem but cannot figure out a way to solve the problem short of getting a new slideout. Ok now let me explain. My bedroom slideout leaks. I found by pushing the rubber inward it slowed it down. One dealer claimed to have fixed it than when it leaked they said they did not. Another dealer said it needs a new rubber seal. But the problem I found yesterday was that the slideout was not squared. The slideout is level on all sides but the rear side. It has a slight angle inward at the top. And at the top five or six inches the rubber seal does not even touch the slidout side. There is a gap there. And the angle starts from the bottom where it is where it should be to that three inch difference at the top. You can put a level on the bottom and see it is out of level.
Ok so anyone have any suggestions short of getting a new slideout???

You are not the only one I am sorry to say.

Our Diplomat has 4 slides. 2 of them are not mounted square in the holes and all 4 slides have rubber seals that are either broke or do not reach the slideout walls. The top rubber seals are missing about an inch in order to reach the slideout roof. Obviously this causes leaks when you get just a bit of wind and a little rain.

Fortunately our rig is still under the first years warranty and we will be going to Camp Monaco in Oregon before long.

Since the rubber seals on the inside of the slideouts are also falling off, it can get quite windy indoors when the wind is in the "right" direction.

I have sent an email to Holiday Rambler to see if they have any suggestions. Push come to shove I will call the oregon shop and talk to them in august and take it to them in Sept since I will be passing thru that area.

That is how mine looks at the top rear side than by the time it reaches the bottom of the slide its fine. I will have to get some pics and post them. I will let you know something if I hear from HR or Monaco.

Unless the slide or the side of the coach is warped, then it should be just an adjustment to get the slide in the same plane and plum as the side of the coach.

I have not needed to do any adjusting as the previous owner took care of all that with the factory, but it seems something that a service center could do without too much trouble.

Having to "replace the slide" seems completely unnecessary.
