Slideout will not retract
I have a 2002 Monaco and ran the back sideout out and it will not retract now. Any ideas?

Keep it simple and start with the switch. Check for power when switching from out to in. If heat on both sides when switching, move to the motor and check for heat there for retract.

Try turning your sales man switch on and off a couple of times, next I would tap on your solenoids, you may have one hanging up, my couch has to on passenger side engine compartment and 2 in front electric bay, solenoids look like early ford starter solenoids.

Does back slide out equal the bed? Most are mechanical (not hydraulic) so if no motor noise it’s a electrical problem. If you hear a motor running then it’s either a shear pin or the plastic reduction gear.

On mine it was the relay in the battery bay. There are 4. Slide would go out just fine, but not back in.

This may be way out in left field but after you check the switch as mentioned above you may want to check your battery voltage. The same happened to me last summer and it turned out that I only had about 10 volts.

We had a problem with our 2 living room/dining/kitchen slides not moving back in. My husband TEMPORARILY "hot-wired" the switch to bring the largest slide in. After spending weeks looking at wiring schematics, reading & re-reading the owner's manuals, and researching on the Internet, we finally learned that on our coach (2004 Monaco Windsor), there are little push buttons located at the top inside edge of the basement door openings. I thought at first they were buttons for basement lights (like the light in the refrigerator) and thought the lights didn't work. Duh! If the brackets that hold those buttons aren't perfectly straight, the buttons don't get fully depressed when the basement doors are shut. If that happens, the slides won't move in or out. It's a safety mechanism to keep us from trying to move the slides if the basement doors aren't shut. He found one of the button brackets was slightly bent. He straightened it by hand, and now the slides go in and out without being "hot-wired."
