Slow Slide out Movement
We are still waiting to take delivery of our coach and my mind has been churning on all the possibilities for things I will need to do. One of the issues is the bedroom slide runs about half speed of the other three. My current 5er has electric slides and it is about the same as those. Could it be the bedroom slide is a different type than the others ? 2004 Beaver Monterrey Laguna QSL

It's not uncommon to have different systems to operate the slides. I happen to be all electrical, but there are some out there that operate some slides with hydro and the others are electric on the same coach. I'm not familiar with exactly how your's is set up.

Our curb side and full wall slide are hydraulic and the bedroom is electric...
Electrical is slow when batteries down or if engine/genny are not running...

Most bed slides are mechanical electric motor mechanisms...slower than the hydraulic slides. Which slide are your referring to?

It is the bedroom slide. We hope to pick it up in the next couple of days and I can look. During the waiting period I have been worrying about all the things that could go wrong lol.

Quit worrying and consider this your new "hobby." Otherwise you will miss out on all the fun it brings. Get it in your head that you will be tinkering with this coach til the day you sell it. It is just part of the experience. Make it a small part, in your mind.
You have a wealth of information at your disposal hear on the forum. So no worries!

Agree with don’t worry, be happy. If the bedroom only has one slideout then the mechanism for it is usually under the bed...motor drive rack system.

My electric bed slide has always been noticeably slower than the other three hydraulic slides.
