SmartWheel Clockspring

My 2006 Holiday Rambler Endeavor has an open circuit from the SmartWheel clockspring connector at the base of the steering column to output side of the clockspring. I am looking for a SmartWheel (V4 Series with an SM211 controller) clockspring supplier. Any help in locating one would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Marty

Palehorse89,
Thank you for the information. I have contacted VipWheels who have provided me with a part number for the clockspring. As VIP only supplies parts to OEMs I now have to contact Monaco to order the part.
Thanks again for the help.
Marty

Gordon66,

Thank you for providing the link. I am out of town right now but will start checking when I get home tomorrow afternoon. I will call Monaco first now that I know what Veurinks charges.

I will let you know where I finally purchase it.

All the best,
Marty

Palehorse 89,
A correction in my reply to you. I actually acquired the part number for the clockspring kit from Douglas Autotech who are the manufacturers of the steering column and install the clock spring as part of the assembly.

Sorry about that,
Marty

I opted to ordered the part from Monaco at a cost of $300.91 plus $17.11 for shipping and handling. The individual I spoke with at Monaco was excellent to deal with. After ordering it I discovered that it was quite a bit cheaper at [www.rvchassisparts.com. Their cost was $230.42 plus shipping. I have just finished installing the part and everything is working as it should.

Thanks to all for the help.
Marty

Do you have the part number? How do you get the center pad off just pull it?
