Speaker wiring

Hello everyone. I have 05 holiday Rambler Ambassador. The right front speaker wire in ceiling for the radio has a brake in it somewhere between the front tv and speaker. Has any body ever undone one side of these headliners? I can’t see where wires run behind front cabinets after tv.

Before you go too crazy, have you tried swapping the left side with the right on the back of the radio, making sure it's not the radio? Are you using the OEM Magnadyne? If so, the speaker wires were individually plugged in via two prong connectors if I recall correctly.

It's been a long time since I owned my 05 Diplomat. I think you might be able to access the wires either through the top of the TV housing, requiring TV removal or find them in one of the "A" pillars. If in the "A" pillars, you might be able to attach new wire at the speaker and pull it back toward the "A" pillar.

Thanks for replying Don. I tested the radio and it fine. Tested the speaker and it’s fine. I opened the A pillar and traced wires all the way up to the tv. They are fine till there. I can’t access wires from there to where they come out of wall. I think what I’m going to do is drill a small hole inside the cabinet into the headliner and fish a new wire through the cabinets up into headliner and over speaker. Pulling the cabinets down is too much work. Thanks again.
