Almost forgot.....yes I did download the installation which is where I got my concern for two mounting bolts from the top,

Well guys, as promised, here is the result of my microwave replacement.

As wideglide and Irishguy suggested, I tried loosening the two main mounting bolts on the bottom of the microwave and sure enough, it began to sag. After providing a soft landing cushion, I removed them completely and let the unit drop. It was a simple matter to remove the back by lifting the unit off of it mounting rail.

Many thanks again for all of your input which allowed me to complete this job myself (with some help). Have a great 2020.

Probably just came down to who was installing ovens that day, whether they got additional support screws or not.
