Irishguy: your response is encouraging. A two screw install would really simplify things.
Wideglide: I like your idea of loosening the long bolts to see if it drops. Given what the Irishguy said, perhaps only two were used. That would save a lot of extra fuss!
Well guys, as promised, here is the result of my microwave replacement.
As wideglide and Irishguy suggested, I tried loosening the two main mounting bolts on the bottom of the microwave and sure enough, it began to sag. After providing a soft landing cushion, I removed them completely and let the unit drop. It was a simple matter to remove the back by lifting the unit off of it mounting rail.
Many thanks again for all of your input which allowed me to complete this job myself (with some help). Have a great 2020.
