Starting problem

Engine wont start. 07 holiday rambler vacationer xl. last week we went dry camping for 6 days.eveything was working good when we stopped.when we came to start to leave the starting batteries were low so i sartted the gen. to recharge with my charger. the engine turns over fine but wont start. we change the 2 fuel filters in case they were plugged up. Got the motorhome towed to the nearest diesel shop 60 miles away. After 4 hours of diagnosing they said it could be a senser.it sounds like no fuel to the engine the engine is a 6.7 cummins ISB 325 HP. DID anyone ever get this problem . i have to wait 2 days for the part. no guarantee that it will start. thanks in advance AL

At 4 hours of diagnosing , I'll assume no codes were set in the Engine Control Module. Did the shop give you any indication of which sensor ?
Last 07 , ISB , that I worked on had 5 or so. Retired 6 years , memory plays tricks.
Did they try a complete battery disconnect, for a couple of mins. ?
If you were cranking the engine with the batteries low, could be , that triggered a shut down in the ECM, and reconnecting to fully charged batteries, may reset the ECM.

Was the pump, the electric lift pump $$$, a fairly common failure, or the gear driven high pressure fuel pump $$$$. Not as common, but way more expensive, on the HPCR Cummins fuel systems.
