Send a message via ICQ to Ivylog
I would use a section of a large bicycle inner tube. Snip or fold the ends to make small enough to tie wrap to the shafts.

If you are looking for something like this they are availabe on Ebay

https://www.ebay.com/itm/2x-Polyboot...-/161789146911

In a bind I tied a zip lock bag around the joint like Ivylog described .

Here is one I found on Ebay
https://www.ebay.com/itm/J8132676-St...MAAOSwxrBeY4Qs
Might try going to thier website to see if they provide different sizes.

I used the key words "Steering Column Boot" to do a search

Folks need to inspect their boots. 2008 Endeavor. When rather new I started to get on the freeway one am and the RV would only turn one way. It took both hands and feet to get it to move slightly to the right so I could get it to the side of the road.

When the RV was built/carpeted, the installer cut down deep into the carpet and severed the boot.

Not knowing this the boot somehow torn after a time and wrapped itself into the shaft like a rubber band. I could turn the steering wheel one direction and in the opposite direction it wound tight.

That was a harrowing morning and I have seen several boots cut over the years.

I can get the factory boot part number but cannot seem to find it. I repaired mine by securing the 2/3 of it that was left,.

Rusty,
Found this site listed in the Monacoers.org parts list
Standard Bellows, Tapered Bellows, Straight Bellows & Stock Dust Boots

You can guess the different sizes and slide the range indicates for the 4 valuses and it will narrow down the choices. I took a guess and it narrowed it down to one choice.
