Step motor arm broke
The cast metal arm that pushes and pulls my step out broke. Anybody know a part number for a replacement? I heard it's a window motor but does that come with the arm?

Separate part from the motor , replaced one last year , P/N in owners manual . Are the steps Kwikee ?

While dealing with my steps I found there is a very wide range of prices for the same part.

Here are pictures of the three common Kwikee linkages , and the picture of the parts package that I replaced.

Jeff,
Don't put any weight on your steps until they are all the way out. I sometimes have to catch myself when I am in a hurry.

Good tip!
Turns out mine is a 35 series step using the A style linkage arm.

The cast pot metal will stress and fail over time ( that's why they make them that way, to sell parts ) Can't remember what I paid $53 comes to mind but the first RV place I contacted had one , and I was in a hurry.  
Any time I'm parked and sure the coach won't settle into the ground , I have a screw jack support under the steps .
