Storage bay sensors, where are they?

My 2009 Monaco Camelot gives me alerts that a storage bay door is open. All of them are locked and secure so I have to assume a faulty sensor somewhere?

Anyone familiar with this system and/or where to check?

Thanks in advance

On my 2007 Dyna, each door has a plunger switch. If you have the same, one of them malfunctioned. Or, it may needed to be adjusted so when the door is closed, it closes the switch. I suppose it could also be a lose or broken wire on one of them.

Here is a link to what my inhibitor switch looks like.

9269 - Door Push-Button Switches Series - Momentary Switches from Switches - Littelfuse

I've had to adjust a couple of mine. If the door isn't closed tightly I can't open my LR slide.

Possibly use electrical contact cleaner in each. Might be sticking. Or as suggested adjust each door.

Thanks for the feedback. However, there is not a simple plunger sensor anywhere that I can find. I assumed the sensor is combined with the electric lock mechanism but there is nothing that I can see from just looking at it.

You are not looking for a 'sensor', you're looking for a 12v switch. This switch would also control the bay light in some bays. Here is a pic of my 2007 bay door catch and the plunger switch above.

Sensor/switch....I was referring to the same thing. As I said, I do not have anything visible like that. Mine is a 2009 so they must have made changes.

Oh ok, thought you had an '07 Camelot....duh. Yours must be incorporated into the hinge or latch catch someway.

As part of the Trimark bay latches they are incorporated with door bay latches. They are available at NWRV supply.

I use a power probe, clamp on power side and activate my key fob. Check voltage. You can check with volt ohm meter

Jim,
My switch/s seem to becoming intermittent
Do you happen to know where I can get this plunger switch?
Clean it with Electronic cleaning spray first?

Thank you,
Tracy
