Strange tire wear

I have a 2001 diplomat 38 DP

I have a set of Good Year tires with approx 10k miles dated 2011.
The front passenger side tire looks like its wearing strange.
The tire has 5 treads. The second tread is wearing on the outside only. This is to say it is wearing on a steep angle. All other treads are wearing perfectly. Both outside threads on either side are fine. The center tread is fine. The o e side of the bad tread is wearing down to a level that I'm going to change the tire. I never saw anything like this.
Any ideas??
Happy New Year

Could be rivering. Goodyear had/has an issue with rivering.

If you search the forum you will find plenty of reading on the topic.

Had a couple GY tires suffer from it 2 years ago. Still running GY tires without any further issues

This is rivering and this is what GoodYears are known for:

My personal opinion is that this is caused by a fault in this model of tire, and not by faulty alignment, tire pressure or shocks. Far too many RV's have this specific problem with exactly GoodYear tires for this to be the case.

Thank you for your reply.
My tire doesn't look like that.
The tire looks perfect on both outside treads. Only the second tread is worn. And it's worn on an angle, perfectly around the entire circumference of the tire. One side if the tread us the same height as the other treads. The other side if the same tread is worn down to the tire.
I'll try and get a pic. Right now I'm up on jacks traveling. I just noticed it today. I'm going to replace the tire, I just wish I knew what caused this. I've never seen anything like it. Tires aren't cheap.
Thanks for you reply.
Happy new year

I would say its most likely an alignment issue. What pressure do you use and have you weighed your MH four corners preferably ? It could be an inflation issue.
There are a few tire experts on the forum ( not me ) , so photos would be helpful.

Both of my front tires (2006 42' Dynasty) did just what "The Danes are Coming" showed in his picture. I replaced both front tires at about 25,000 miles. At that same time, I had the alignment checked, and while they did "tweak" the adjustments slightly, they were already within the limits of the specifications. I've not seen the problem recur. Other than some edge rounding on the tag tires, the other six and the two new ones are holding up beautifully. I'm going to be looking at the "age" factor long before I change them for wear. I don't want to start that thread, as I'll wager that there are more opinions than there are forum members. But at seven and a half years of age (for the six), I'm starting to be haunted by the thought.

Sorry to say it but they most likely will as time goes by. Our Goodyears did that even with the recommended extra 10 lbs of air. At 25,000 the balance, handling, and ride was so bad we ditched them. What a difference with the new tires. Smooth as silk even at 70 MPH.

Run 10 lbs extra air on the fronts and keep an eye on them.

I had the same problem as,the Danes. My tires wer Goodyear G 670. I took it to Freightliner for an alignment. They said my alignment was perfect, but my height alignement was off. I had them repair the height alignment and no more tire wear.

I don't do Goodyear tires because of their rivering problem and they ain't cheap$$$$. Replaced mine with Hankooks for about $300 less per tire..

I haven't had the Rv weighed. After I bought it, we cleaned her up, packed it up, and off for a 5 month trip. It came with new good year tires.
I'll post a pic today. I'm fairly sure it's not an alignment problem. Could it be from towing a jeep? Or I'm thinking a defective tire. I went to a truck tire Michelin shop when I first noticed it, and they said they had no idea what caused the tire to wear like that.
Very strange. I'm hoping to change it, and that's my fix.

Hi. I attached a pic. The second tread from the left is worn right to left. All other treads are fine. Even on the outside treads on both sides. Any ideas. I keep 105 lbs pressure on both front as monaco says. I high pressure tire should ware in the center. Not where this is warring. Any ideas.
Thanks
Rick
