Suburban NT-45S Furnace or Furnace motor
Does anyone know if there is a furnace that is an exact replacement for this unit or if you can still get a replacement motor. Units I've seen air intake and exhaust don't match holes already in my coach (94 Monaco Executive)

The NT series furnace motor should still be available .
Have you contacted any RV parts store about the part ?

Suburban NT-45S
* Motor 231646 Obsolete / No Longer Available
You will need to take measurement of furnace cabinet and area where furnace is installed and then compare with Suburban Furnace Specs in this manual

NT-45S no longer produced and even finding an equivalent motor is a major task, my motor stills runs, but shaft has lots of wobble/play and causes squirrel cage fans to rub bad. I've considered replacing entire furnace, plenty space and mounting room since new furnaces are much more compact, but furnace air inlet and exhaust ducts will be an issue thru my outside furnace door as the ducts are so far apart on the stock furnace compared to new ones. will probably start looking for some brand 40BTU that is simple to install. I have 5 heat delivery ducts with quite a bit of space in their mount area. thanks for your replies

Quick update on the motor in checking my records RV company that went out of business 6 or 7 years ago replaced the motor way back. I finally got motor out and that company's sticker is on the motor. Called them, they are still in business and only 20 miles away, say they can rebuild or replace the motor. Motor has 4 wires but only 2 were used for operation, other 2 were capped off.

That's good news that you've found a replacement/repair .
With four wires , the motor must be a multi speed unit , from a different application .
If you can get a part number and post it , along with the OEM number, that could help other members with their own repairs.

Suburban NT-45S Furnace Motor
Dropped off motor yesterday, Swigart called me today and stated purchasing a new motor was cheaper than having my old one rebuilt. They had it in stock, just under $70 out the door. It also had 4 wires, but they clipped the 2 not needed for other speeds. Not a bad deal seeing as it was almost $800 for a replaceable furnace that would fit my coach. A family business and very nice people to work with, they take the time to explain everything. Swigert Electric Motors.

Caution on Motor installation
In the process of putting my furnace back together I came across a major issue installing my new motor. I Never got to see the original stock motor, when furnace quit I took coach to a local RV dealer (now out of business) and told them fix it, they said motor was bad and replaced it. I told them to pitch old motor. The motor is mounted with rubber bushings just pressed tight on the motor at each end. New motors have air inlet slots at each end for cooling. My original rubber mounting bushings (which are still good) completely cover new motor air inlet holes on both ends which caused the armature to burn up in just several years even though I never used it much. I can't imagine why the RV repair shop didn't notice or address this when they installed it, probably why the're not in business any more. I'm fabricating metal mounting brackets to replace the rubber.
