Surge Guard problem/question

We have an 2005 Beaver Monterey, just had a bad transfer switch replaced. It now has a Surge Guard 40350RVC. Everything works, plug AC in and get power, run generator and get power. But, the Alladin system does not show any power coming in, it reads no AC, on shore or gen power. The plug, a little 4 wire cable, is plugged in , and everything looks wired properly. Am I missing something, or ?????? The display worked on the old Surge Guard, but replaced unit because it would drop out, usually in the middle of the night.
Help the displayless Muffin Man.

When my transfer switch and inverter blew a couple of years ago, because of bad shore power, it also blew 2 fuses and two transformers in the Aladdin. I had the same symptoms. The fuses are in a separate junction box next to my transfer switch. The transformers were cheap. Good luck.

Talked to Surge Guard, this AM, they said the newer model 40350RVC transfer switch needs a jumper plug installed to work. Where the telephone type plug for the Alladin system is plugged in, there is a space for a jumper plug. Now I have to go back to the installer, and try and find the plug. Oh, happy hunting, o great Muffin Man.

Thanks for the info.
