If you google petwrbilt 320 count tank a few wreckers will show up
Used about $150. Of you have any hd truck wreckers in your area go for a drive with a picture of the tank. It was used in other Pete models. Try calling Vanderhags( spelling) in SD.

Mine started leaking in the summer of 2018 while in Maine on vacation. We made it back to Florida and I had the same problem you are having finding a replacement tank. I finally ordered a new steel replacement tank from Veurinks RV in Michigan. New tank with a new sensor, wiring harness and tank cap was around $500. It bolted right up where the old one came off. Total time to remove & replace was about 2 hours. If you run out of options on a used one, check out Veurinksrv.com as they still stock them.

I was in this exact position when I first purchased it. My nylon surge tank has some major cracks, and there's JB Weld from the previous owner. I went to a truck repair place, and they suggested to fix it before make the ~500 mile trip home. If the coolant tank exploded on the road, it could be very bad. I would definitely be stranded on the side of road, also possibly destroy the engine by over heating it.
I ended up buying a steel tank and next day to me. Then had the shop installed the tank and also flushed the coolant. The tank+shipping is 600+$. Then labor and coolant is another few hundred. Never had any coolant issue since (>1 year). I think it was worth it.

I bought this Permatex 82099 Spray Sealant, 9 oz. for a leak on my oil pan in case I didn't have time to change it before a trip we had planned. It worked great for the short time on the oil pan before I replaced it. I kept it in the m/h and on our trip and my plastic expansion tank started leaking on the way back. I sprayed it with the sealant and drove another 2000 miles with no more leaks. Great stuff to have in the m/h IMO.

Do you all think we can make it home like this?
Also with age the hoses at back of tank will crack an leak. Not sure where yours is leaking but fix for that is to cut off short damaged end an replace with new hose. Also on our 1999 Allegro the small hose coming off head also broke as it was not supported properly .Fix for that was new hose an also properly support enough radius in hose.

Beaver Coach Service in Bend, OR, designed and built a metal tank to replace the problematic plastic ones that needed frequent replacement on Monaco/Beaver rigs. You might give them a buzz and ask if it might work for your coach, but be aware they may not be as affordable as the other that BigEd1957 mentioned.

Coolant tank leak

I had a similar problem with a gas can that was used to keep methanol in for my dragster. Apparently I had not let the generator cool down before packing up tp go home. The plastic jug shifted enough to have an indentation from the generator muffler. The next time I put fuel in it it leaked.

I took a large electric soldering gun and ran it around the spot where the muffler had melted the plastic. No more leaks! It has lasted for over ten years without a problem.
