Tag Wheel Regulator Gauge Replacement

Just took a look at my tag wheel regulator and realized that the gauge is pegged below the 0 mark. Any hidden gotcha's of replacing this, other than to drain the air tanks?

Anyone recommend replacing the regulator while I'm at it? If so, does anyone know the correct PN# that fits within this bracket?

Thanks!

Does the Regulator work? If so, just replace the pressure gauge. If the regulator works just back the adjustment knob off all the way (then there will be no air pressure passing through to gauge) and you can replace gauge without needing to drain the air tank.

You can easily find a replacement air pressure gauge that will work - just go to Amazon and look for an "air pressure gauge with 1/8" NPT rear fitting.

Such as https://www.amazon.com/PneumaticPlus...%2C278&sr=8-32

It's a good time to check for small air leaks also. I see the camera air solenoid behind the tag regulator. I replaced both due to leaks.

FWIW, the camera air solenoid valve was a KIP 141114-12VDC and the tag regulator was a http://www.wilkersoncorp.com/9em-tk-190/9em-r03.pdf

There is a switch, drivers left console marked "Camera Air". Pushing that switch opens the camera air valve by the tag regulator which is plumbed up to the camera and blows high pressure air on the rear camera lens. In rain when the camera gets covered with water, tapping that switch immediately clears the camera! If you see a nipple extending about an inch from just above a rear camera the coach has Camera Air.

When I bought the coach a few years ago and discovered that feature I nearly got a callous on my finger from pushing it so much.

I’d try turning the black knob CCW to see if the gauge moves... raise up on the knob first. If it doesn’t change the reading, I would buy a gauge that goes up to 100 (probably 1/4” NP thread) and unscrew the old and put the new in with Teflon tape.

Damn, you Signature guys have everything!

When I'm traveling at night in heavy rain, I just tell the wife,"hope your car is still back there "!
