did you ever think of using a wet/ dry and sucking it out. I did something similiar at a customers house when he accidently washed some dirt down his garbage disposal and a small pebble jammed the cutter blade. I fred the blade and removed the obstruction with my shop vac

If the toilet is a "tecma" toilet by Tetford", then the proper solution is to follow the tech's advice. The bottle is sitting in the 3" tube that connects the toilets exit opening to the macerator. If you damage the macerator you are looking at a $300+. Fix.

Roadlizard, I hate to hear of your mishap but it has been interesting reading. I would assume that you do have a sense of humor and certainly hope that every thing comes out OK.
