Tire keeps going down
Anybody have this problem and what did you do to fix it? 22.5 inch two year old tire went flat setting for two months, inside dual, so I aired it up and sprayed with some windex. i have another slow leak at the valve stem where it is attached to the wheel. Inside wheels are steel wheels. Problem is this keeps happening almost every year. I've gone to Goodyear before and to Les Schwab, where this tire was mounted two years ago. This just keeps happening. They wire-wheel clean the hole and install a new valve stem. A year or so later it's leaking at the stem.
I know the valve extension and pressure monitor are not helping but I have to have them. I won't go without the TPMS operating.
Any help is appreciated.

Take it back to whomever fixed it last and tell them it's still doing it. Most large tire stores will still have a tank somewhere they can use to look for the leak. I have chrome rims on one of my cars that consistently leak when I get new tires. For whatever reason the chrome allows the tire to slide a little and lose air. We stop it by glueing the tires to the rims each time I get new tires. Just plain old patch glue and then they don't leak. (I've had the car for 19 years so I've used a few tires)

My problem was at the valve stem and tire extender, took awhile to find, Les Swab had a tank to submerge tire, finally found leak at extender joint. Good Luck

Get rid of the valve extensions and install a set of Duallyvalves. They come with a long valve stem and a rubber support that fits the hole in your wheel.

When you place a TPMS sensor on the end of a valve extension it shakes, rattles, and rolls the stem until it eventually leaks.

Had the same problem. Went to a tire place that works on trucks. They put it in a water tank and saw the valve stem leaking.
Said they see it a lot and replaced the valve stem. Problem solved.

If you have flow through TPMS sensors, put the sensor on the valve stem first and then put the extension on the sensor. That way the weight of the sensor isn't out swinging at the end of the extension. That should reduce stress on the valve stem. That's the way I have mine hooked up.
