Tire Monitoring Systems

I was wondering how many of you have installed a tire monitoing system and what kind you are using. Getting ready to retire and can't wait to start traveling. I have installed quite a few things on my MH but not this.

Any input would be appriciated.

I use the system from TST. There is a very lengthy thread on this found here http://www.irv2.com/forums/f84/insta...stem-1663.html

I have had the TST system for about a 1 1/2 years and it has worked great. It is reasonably priced and the customer service is outstanding. Can't go wrong.....

We have the Doran RV360 with a repeater in the rear wall bedroom closet. The system works great and has already caught a leaking tire on the CRV toad.

I think the main thing is to have a tire monitoring system.

I've used the Pressure Pro on the coach and the toad for 2 and a half years and it's worked very well. I also had to install a repeater in the rear of the coach so it would pick up the toad readings. I would purchase this system again.

Bob,

Did you try the monitor without the repeater to pick up the toad. The Doran has also got some great write ups and the company has been in business for 35 years. I will hard wire mine.

Del

Here is another thread about the TST system....
http://www.irv2.com/forums/f105/grea...tst-58306.html
It was the least expensive system I could find and works well for me on my 99 Tradewinds.

We have used the Pressure Pro system for about 2 years and have had no problems. It's been easy for us to reach the company when we've had questions. Our coach is an actual 36' and we do not need a repeater or booster for the toad. Having a tire monitoring system puts my mind at ease, although we do regularly check the tires with a gauge.

Yes, I did try it first without the repeater and it worked most of the time. Every now and then the receiver would loose one of the sensors and I did not like that. We have not had one lost sensor alarm since installing the repeater.
