I just bought a Jeep Liberty 4x4, 07 model used for $11500 w/24k miles. About 3600lbs and tows beautiful, rides good, odometer doesn't change and gets great gas mileage. Stick it in neutral and good to go. This model does require that you leave the key in the "on" position but have towed for over 7 hours and no problem on the battery. This not my primary vehicle so I didn't want to spend a lot and I am really happy with it. Good luck. Got tow bar, plates and lights for about $600. Parts from internet and tow bar from Ebay. All Blue OX. Simple and easy hookup.

Your Ford Bronco sounds like a great candiate. The best toad is the one in you driveway, is the advice I took. $830.00 for a remco drive shaft with disconnect. If your speedo is elect then pull the dash fuse, if mechanical the shaft disconnect got you covered. Toe plates, brake system , tow bar, and lights are needed with any vehicle you buy. Any remco dealer shoud be able to install it for $700.00. I installed mine in 3 hours, did not pay to have the shaft balanced after test drive at 75 mph was OK.

MHing is like Boating- qouted prices are inflated these toys, you need to shop around and plan ahead and you can save big bucks.

Good luck
