Touch up paint

Does anyone know where to get touch up paint ??? I tried scratch cover and a couple others - they don't match at all even after I gave paint codes and sent pictures. Just a few scratch's from removing the film on the front . Thanks Dave

I got the paint codes from Monaco, I have a 4 color scheme 3 green shades and black.

Monaco used BASF Diamont paint,
BASF Refinish - Find a Distributor

I found a local dealer and gave him the paint codes, I first painted the lightest green shade and it was a perfect match. I then had 1 pint of each color mixed and used 2 of the lighter shades of green and black, again a perfect match.

The paint required thinning and a hardener, the paint store told me what mix to use (hardener is based on outside temp). Same with the clear coat.

This was the first time I tried painting anything like this, overall it turned out pretty good,.

I too got the paint codes from Monaco. I then ordered the paint from KC Paint and Supplies in Spokane, Wa. These folks were willing to mix small touch up bottles for each of the three colours used on our coach. They over the years they have mixed them for me twice. Good group to work with.

Thanks for that source. Ours is also BASF. Local supply was a pint minimum. They would however also put it in a spray can. Our is base coat formula so also need to clear coat. It was not going to be cheap either!!!

Space Age Auto Paint Store in Phoenix.

Small amounts available and they will also put it in spray cans.

I have had them mix paint for me from Monaco's spec for my MH.

Space Age is a neat store. I found all kinds of stuff I couldn't do without last year. Can't wait to go back in Jan to see if I can find something else I need.

paint matching

Most auto paint stores will go out to your vehicle and use a scanner to determine a color. They can mix up a can of paint or a rattle can for you. This way you get a match for the current color, not the color the paint was when you bought it. Obviously, call before driving over there to make sure they can do this.
