Trailer brake controller wires

2007 Monaco Executive
I'm looking for the wires to connect to my trailer brake controller.
I found this 6 wire bundle in the dash area above the brake pedal. It's a white 6-wire connector with purple, large black, green, light brown/tan, white, and yellow wires. Is this my trailer brake controller wire bundle?
Picture posted below. The white connector is in the center of the picture below.

Assuming I found the right bundle, does anyone know what the color coding corresponds to?
Thanks

No the wires are all the same color white but they will have a tag that says Brake Controller. On my 08 Diplomat they were under the opening on top the dash. Just today found my friends 09 Diplomat under the dash left side of the steering column. Have to use your test light to find Hot Ground trigger and supply to the 7 way😎

2007 Monaco Signature Wiring Diagrams

Vito-

Here's a link to a set of diagrams on "Bill D's Monacoers" Yahoo Web site. See sheets 191-193. The legend on those sheets imply they cover your Executive.

I'd have attached a copy to this post, but it was too big.

On our '06 Dynasty, there is supposed to be a connector labeled M66. Pin 1 is shown to be a #12 white and goes to ground. Pin 2 is a #14 black/white that is the input signal to the controller from the brake light switch relay in the front run box. Pin 3 is a #12 blue that goes to M109-5 which I believe is the brake control to the tow vehicle. Pin 4 is a #14 yellow/black that is the ignition source. Pin 5 is a #12 red that is the charge line from fuse F7-3. That one is a bit inconsistent with other drawings that I have, but it does show it on the drawing to be the charge line for the tow. Pin 6 is a no-connection. On our coach, the connector was removed, and the connections were made with in-line splices. Not sure why, but it was done that way by the folks at Monaco when it was built.

Those aren't the same colors you are seeing, but at least it is the connector configuration that is on our coach for the tow brake. I doubt that will help you much, but its something to at least look for.

The information "K7JV" provides matches the diagrams to which I linked.

Thanks for the replies.
Mark, I can't get the link to work?
So, from Bob's reply the wires on the two Diplomats were all white, yet Jim's Dynasty they were color coded.

Is the difference because of where the chassis was built?

Can I connect a tone generator to the brake lead on the 7-way trailer tail light connector at the rear of the coach and expect that to connect to the trailer brake control harness under the dash?

Vito, I would expect you to have six "holes" on your tow plug. There would be one for LEFT TURN, RIGHT TURN, TAIL, BRAKE (Control), +12V and GROUND. The one for the brake control should be electrically continuous from that plug to the compartment by your left knee in the cab. If you identify that one on the two plug, yes, you should be able to put a tone on it and find it in the cab. At least I don't think that there are any interposing relays between the plug and the cab.

Hopefully you'll have better luck than I do with that. I've had some luck with a number of inexpensive devices, but I'm still looking for a truly good yet not a fortune cable tracer.

On my coach, all the TB wires were white but had a label for each one. Very small print but I could make out what each one was. I then used a sniffer to confirm.

I have a 2001 HR Endeavor. Does anyone know if these are pre wired for the brake controller? Or am I going to need to run it myself?

I also have a 2001 Endeavor. 38 PBD, Cummins 330. It did not have a trailer brake harness. I installed a Prodigy and wired it myself. Time consuming but not a big deal.

I still have not located my trailer brake wire bundle. I've been reluctant to purchase an inexpensive wire sniffer, but may be forced into that route.

Vito-

Did you look under the shifter panel in the driver's left armrest? It could be there, or attached to the headlight switch.

There are guesses based on locations for the other diesel models of the period. I'm probably all wet... wouldn't be the first time!
