Trailer plug adapter 6 prong rectangl 1999 LaPalma

Trying to get my wiring done for my trailer. Trailer has standard four flat. 99 LaPalma has a damn 6 prong rectangular plug which I cannot find anywhere.
Tips on wiring this thing. I know fords(mine is f53) use 5 wires plus ground for tail lights signals and brake lights. I know there is a trick of some sort to converting that to 3 wire plus ground, I really need help with this.

Why in the world did Monaco use an almost propriatary trailer plug setup? at never seen this type trailer plug anfd can't find anything like it much less an adapter.

I bought a 7-way to 5-way adapter at our local camping store for $12.00. But here is the diagram for the 7-way if you're going to rewire...

Here is a good online resource: http://www.etrailer.com/faq-wiring.aspx

Here's a source for the 7way to 4way adapters(cheaper than my local camping store): http://www.adventurerv.net/7way-5way...er-p-8072.html

Have you checked a U-Haul store? THey have adapters I"ve never seen before.

Option 2: Replace the odd one with a standard one.
