Tranny Dipstick

Silly Question??
Should all Monaco Motorhomes be equipped with Tranny Oil Dipsticks?
We have a "new-to-us" 2006 Monaco Camelot, Cummins ISL/Allison.
The tranny "filler tube" in the engine bay contains no dipstick; only a "bung" reading Transynd Oil.
I am aware that one can determine tranny oil levels digitally on the driver's transmission gear selector, but it just seems odd not to be able to also check it "the old-fashioned way"
Thanks in advance
Rudy

You still have a dipstick. The rear filler is a chassis builder add on. The Allison dipstick is accessed from the bedroom hatch.

Thanks for your response Steve
I should have mentioned that I'd already found that "shorty" under the bedroom "hatch" . Not really the best design with carpeting, etc. nearby. However, I can live with it.
Thanks again
Rudy

In 6 years of full timing I can truthfully say I've never used the dip sick to check fluid level. Allison will tell you to use the electronic shift pad as it is much more precise. I check mine with the shift pad ever time I fuel up.

Problem I have with the electronic level check is that the transmission cools off so fast when I stop that I get the fluid temp too low by the time it's gone through the countdown. That started when I changed from Dexron III to TranSynd some years ago.
