Harry, as long as you have been keeping up with the maintenance there should be no reason to change it. I highly suspect the fires associated with the transfer switches was do to loose connections.
I changed mine because it simply quit. The control board failed some how and the replacement was a drop in place. The one I posted that is. While waiting for the replacement wire nuts were used to simply bypass it.

I have a WFCO T57 in my Amazon list, in case I need one. I keep thinking I should put one in my onboard parts bin. Actually, I have at least 4 bins with spare parts and filters. But it looks so good, I haven’t bought one yet.
When Big Sky Bob told me about having to change out his flexible kitchen drain hose, I bought all the pieces and put them onboard. Not 2 moths later, mine failed while on a trip. 3 hours later all done.
Belts, hoses, filters, alternator, belt tensioner, water pump, thermostat, plus a myriad selection of interior parts.
I’m good Boy Scout: Be prepared.

Harry, do you still have that list of parts for the flexible drain hose? I probably should get one.
Thanks

Loose connections cause heat and burned wires. We know what follows. Not pretty. That’s why I stay on schedule.
Below is a picture of the original recalled Iota transfer switch, from July 4, 2020, when I last went through the coach tightening lugs.
I know, I’m on borrowed time with my Iota transfer switch! What do you folks think?

REPLACE it as soon as you can.. I had the same one in my Pacearrow and I replaced it. I'm placing an order for another one for my Monaco Camelot 42PDQ next week. Can't go wrong, Very simple to change-out.

The WFCO T57 has excellent reviews and does not hum. That would be my go to transfer switch when do replace it.
Thank you for the link to the other one. Always good to shop and stay current. I picked out the T57 about 3 years ago.

I just went through the questions and rating for the Progressive Dynamics PD5. It is one of the models that hum.
Also, in the questions and ratings, these have their share of failures too.
I still believe it is a user maintenance issue. Keep the lugs tight!

The ESCO Lyght 50BRD I installed a few years ago doesn't hum either.
Although I did recently fry the time delay board in it when my gen failed, and I didn't know the switch on the delay board was set to 'no delay'.
Between that and having shore still connected cost me a new TDB.
I was lucky it didn't cost me the Inteletec load shedding.
