Jeffrey picked up our MH from Monaco in Elkhart. The experience with them was very good-they were helpful and quick to get it done. The converter was fried along with the rear TV. Thankfully that was all--we were afraid we might have lost both Tvs, maybe a/c, frig but how lucky we felt.

We left to go home to AZ on Friday night after visiting dad in the hospital. We only drove to about an hour south of Cleveland and spent the night at a nice rest stop.

We got to Springfield, MO the next day and went to a nice campground so the dogs could run around on some grass by a river. The furgirls must have their grass The next day was to Amarillo, TX where we stayed at a Hastings parking lot as my friend was the manager. Had a woman bang on our door at 1 am to beg $--that's what happens when you stay alone. The site was great though as there was grass for the dogs and their coffee shop opened at 6 am!!
The next day we could have made it home but we really did not want too push it and go home in the dark as the deer and elk can be bad in Pine, Az.

We went to friend's house to spend the night. They have the littermate to our puppy so the "girls" got to run around and play together
The motorhome ran well--we had NO problems other than we could not get the 10 cd player to work but the radio had a single Cd player. Nothing like listening to Harry Potter books on tape to pass the time

We got home on Tuesday morning and then I had to fly back to Cleveland Wednesday am as my dad was going downhill. Unfortunately he passed away Thursday morning.

Karen...
I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. I am so glad you made it back there in time. I can tell you from experience that in time the pain you feel now will still be there...but it won't hurt as much as it does now.
I will PM you with info if you need to talk.
Hugs to both You and your Mom...and of course the rest of your family ....
Becky

MM,

Thank you for your kind words. As a family we are coping..........
I'll stay for a week or so to help Mom. She wants to take a trip in the MH with us so we are trying to get her out to AZ for a trip.
It has been a challenging journey with my Dad... He was doing well and then .......

Thanks again for your sweet words.

Karen,
Sorry to read about your Dad. I'm sure having you there is a comfort to your Mom and family. I hope you can get your Mom to take a trip in the motorhome, if nothing else to have a change and some fun. AZ is so very nice this time of year.
Mic of,

Karen, what challenges you have had to face recently. I am so sorry for the loss of your Dad, but as MM said, it is good that you made it back. I know that he felt your love and presence and caring.

Better days ahead, you are a good daughter.

Brenda, of...
