TripTek 3100-8 video messes up Sony monitor

So the TripTek 3100-8 has started to cause the Sony backup monitor to distort the picture. I bypassed the TripTek and connected the camera cable directly to the monitor, and the picture is fine. The video in/out RCA/phono connectors seem to be ok, wiggling them seems to show that the female bulkhead connectors on the unit are soldered ok.

I think I'll hunt down a phono cable and see if the TripTek can power a separate input on the monitor, ie. b/u cam on "A", TripTek on "B".

I suspect the TripTek video driver has failed.
