Tv lift

Trying to remove the old tv from the drop down lift. Has anyone done it or have a manual that shows how it mounts,

Your 2006 should have this version. Once you remove the big plastic cover I think you will see the mount. I'm not sure if I have photos, I'll look. Many of us have installed a 48".

Good information thanks. My hold up now is it appears you need to remove the vinyl covered board that covers the back of the actual mount. Having trouble believing you need to strip the material off the board

Take the screws out and the cover comes off.

Are you talking about the 4 wood screws that go in from the tv side. 2 in the top that hold the wood bars at the top and 2 at the bottom

If the TV is UP you have to rip the plywood off the back of the rack that holds the TV. It has been years since I replaced the whole thing with a permanent bit of cabinetry so the stupid thing wouldn't get stuck up in the ceiling anymore.

Huh? If he has the Lift My TV lift that is not true. Perhaps the earlier ones Monaco used but that was a different manufacturer.

Got it. Had 4 strips of 2 inch sticky tape top to bottom. Vibration proofing I guess. Replacing the old system with a 43 inch Samsung. The old LED screen was dying.

do you have the tv model number?

do you have a photo of it installed.

I was looking at the tcl tv's at walmart looked like the 42" would fit..

The shape of the back of the tv on some of them might be a problem.

Not mounted yet. Will do that possibly today. Will post the model number later as I don’t have it with me. The AV person at Best Buy told me the TCL tv’s had to have the internet available to be fully functional where the Samsung,Sony and LG didn’t. As it is in the Coach it will not have it most of the time

Link to installing a 50" Samsung 4k TV into the lift. It fits perfect!
They are on sale at Costco for half the price they used to be.

50 would fit in mine but there’s a nice piece of wood above my screen that has the center speaker mount in it and I didn’t want to move that
