Ugly clear coat on out side of entry door!

I am wanting to take the cracked ugly clear coat off of the entry door around the top lock. I remember, a company in Fla. I think that had a product that will take off the clear coat with out to much trouble.
Does anybody remember the name of the company?

Hey Phil,
I believe you are referring to a protective film, either 3M or Diamond Shield. Many coach builders have used those products for paint protection in damage prone areas.

Dazzling Detailing operates crews up and down the West coast of Florida. They seem to have a handle on the removal process.

Safe travels.

I got the impression OP is talking about the door not front nose of coach.

Did some manufacturers put the Diamond Shield (or similar) on the entry door? I have not heard of anything being applied on the door, except the clear coat paint.

They put the diamond shield around the entry door deadbolt also to prevent key scratching I suppose.

I had same problem on our entry door. The Diamond Shield around handle and lock were showing its age cracking and mold underneath just like the front of RV did. I removed and having wife cut some replacements with Cricut.

Only took about 15 minutes to remove, sun warmed it up and plastic razor blades to help. Cleaned up residue with Goo Gone or similar.

I believe using a heat gun helps. Just make sure not to get it too hot.
