Afternoon,
Went to the Parke County, IN covered bridge festival this past week end. When I left Evansville I paid 348.9 for fuel. In Parke County it was 379.9 and on my return from work this afternoon I swung by the West side Murphy station and diesel was $309.9
Gotta run now as I'm on the way to fill up.
Silly I guess that its cheap at 309.9 but I like the direction.

Man, buy futures if you can. LOL. Best I've seen around here is 3.45. Still don't understand why diesel is so much higher than regular unleaded. I've heard excuses but no reasons.

I got bit on something like that in Indiana once upon a time. I didn't see the small print under the price. "Plus Tax"

The 309.9 is the price after taxes. I guess since no big trucks could fuel up there they don't bother posting the tax exempt prices.
You do have to be careful in Indiana though. The big truck stops will flash a low price and when you pull in for auto diesel you find its considerably higher.
Usually this Murphy's has the lowest price diesel in town. For what reason I'm not sure but I sure ain't complaining. I was going to post the price on Gasbuddy.com but I decided to keep it to myself. Didn't want to start a run on the station.

Its still high here in Arizona, We filled up before our trip last Thursday before we left at 3.44 in Sierra Vista on base it was 3.69 our son in law who has been in basic since July said boy thats cheep till I told him what it was at home when we left. Tonight as we drove past that same station as Thursday AM it was now down to 3.33. Its about time. and high test was at 3.31. There might be more then just coal in the stockings this Christmas.

Well, it worked. They got us excited about spending $3.00 a gallon for diesel. I can hardly wait for next year.

Good evening,
I hate to keep rubbing this in everyone but the same station I quoted the price from in the original post has now droped their price to $2.97 a gallon.
I expect to see a long line of motorhomes in the morning as I drive by on the way to work.
