Having seen many advertisements in my RV newsletters and websites, I bought an Acuva UV water filter for my kitchen faucet and it has worked GREAT.
Now, after 4 years, I need some technical support, the blue light on the faucet is not working and now there is a red light on the controller. The specs say that if that happens, call support. I cannot get ahold of the company, I've tried calling, email, and text.

But I have a large UV system to treat my well water. The UV bulb is replaceable and they recommend changing yearly. UV bulbs degrade and will not put out enough UV to safely treat the water. My system even had a display that counts down from 365 days, when I change the bulb I have to reset the system
So my suggestion would be to see if the UV bulb is replaceable and if the system can be reset. I would think this info would be in the manual.

Lippert owns them now. Call Lippert support . good luck as I called them on mine and they would not help as I purchased their unit from Amazon. Said to call Amazon. Typical of them.

When I knew I was going to go full-time, I put in a whole house UV water filter after my two carbon bass filters. And it is easy to replace the bulb. This way everything gets filtered. Going into my water tank and filtered again coming out.
