Unidentified switches under Beaver dash?
I just noticed 2 push button switches under the dash of my 03 Beaver Patriot. Does anyone know what they are for? I have the Cummins ISL. Here is a pic.

When pushed, does the switch appear to be "momentary contact" or is there a snap action (i.e., "push on ; push off")?

I believe Craig is correct for one of the switches. I believe I have the same switches under my dash also. I just haven't got around to dealing with them yet.

The keypad programming is under the passenger side console. I dont know if the switches are momentary or not. Im fearful to push them without knowing what they are.

You might ask over on the Beaver Forum. There are a few guys over there that know our coaches inside and out.

You might have the ejector seat option. Stand to the side when you push them.

Under the left side of my dash, I have the diagnostic connectors for the Cummins engine and Allison transmission, along with the buttons to read the codes.
On yours, it looks like the factory just left them hanging instead of using a bracket. You may also have the black tucked up there also, as your picture shows two buttons.
The door keypad programming button is tiny compared to these buttons.

I have the ejector seat button hooked up to the co-pilots seat only! If she gets too involved involved in my driving, I can use it! Ha Ha

Hummm, after looking at your photo, that would be my best guess too. Thanks for the input, I appreciate it.

I do not know about the switches but I would be concerned about the yellow/? wire in the lower left of the pic with the empty red "crimp splice" attached.
(It looks to me like something is disconnected)!

I believe one of the switches is used to read out fault codes from the Bosch air-over-hydraulic ABS brake system.

The splice looks like it was never crimped.
