Amazon carries a Fluke Pro 3000 toner and probe kit for $74. I got mine at Home Depot for a little more. http://www.amazon.com/Fluke-Networks.../dp/B000FTADX0

Oh well, the cheap source for the Triplett fox-and-hound says "back ordered--8 weeks". I might use the time to try to educate myself more on those devices. Like I said, I have a cheap one, and it does work...but there is so much cross-talk among wires parallel to one another in a long bundle, sometimes it is able to show you the "vicinity" where the wire resides, but not which individual wire it is.
