I am looking for a used pair of (Updated) control arms for my 2003 Monaco Knight 36PBD. I am not sure if the ones that are on my rig have ever been updated, but they are the old style and I need the newer Heavy duty ones.
It is a R4R or R4RR Roadmaster chassis.

Are you referring to the rear trailing arms? I doubt you will find anything used. Why would anyone have a set? You could try one of the MH wreckers. Not sure they would know if the arm was oem or aftermarket.

I agree with your comment.
But, I have played with old cars for many years and it is amazing what people have laying around or on an old vehicle in their yard.
I am also checking with a few RV bone yards trying to get lucky.
New ones are VERY expensive.

And, suggest you edit your original post title to say "trailing arm".

And many other Monaco product with the 4 bag suspension will have the same trailing arms:

MH salvage prices aren't like you pull it prices ,especially harder to find parts plus difficulty of removal, disabling ability to roll it after that. But I hope you get lucky. From what I think I read the first recall replacement Monaco trailing arms were not much better than originals. The Source Engineering arms have good decals installed , at least my friends arms do. Source shape is definitely different. Those may help to identify the ones you want.
There's not better spent to upgrade them due to reliability and safety standpoint.
