I would be a little worried about being over length in most states and providences. Most are 65’ with a few at 75’, but very few at 75’. I pull a GMC crew cab pickup with only a six foot bed with my 40’ Executive and I’m exactly 65’ long. From the picture you look to be at least 75’, maybe a bit more?
I do like the mods you’ve done however. I also had to add the metal plate under the maxi brake valve. After 180,000 miles the plastic finally gave up.

I hear you on the length. I have flew under the radar so far but,,,,, I think it is still a tad under 75ft mark. I will get a tape measure out,,,, on second thought,,, maybe I don't want to know,,,, LOL. Thanks on the upgrades, I posted only because I enjoy others upgrades and I get ideas from them. We are stronger as a group!! These were all done in my shop with some help from great friends!!

We have a lot of racers that pull long trailers behind their motorhomes and have never been stopped because of length. I pull a 48' goosneck with a Freightliner FL-70 Four door crew Sports Chassis truck and I am over 65" and have been all over the States and never been stopped because of length. Yes I know it is on in the rule book but I think that law is a little outdated so nobody enforces it.
Joe, you did an excellent job on your Sig. It looks great

About length, as long as your on the interstate or within a mile of it your length is governed by the state that issued your drivers license. Montana lets you be 90', while district of columbia is 50'. Mine is CA which is 65'. I got pulled over on interstate 10 near Indio, CA by a highway patrol. I saw him staring going the other way, He actually made a u-turn to come back and pull me over. I saw him counting the panels on my trailer after the u-turn, and he told me he was very good at his job and was sure i was over length. It was the only reason for the stop, he had the tape measure in his hand when he initially came up. I had my old coach, a safari, and he measured me at 67 1/2', slightly over. He was unhappy that everything else was in order, he thought my trailer was rated higher than 10,000 lb, at which point you need a commercial license. He wrote the ticket for length, let me drive on and the fine was $131. With my Monaco and trailer I'm 75' and don't take the south route home anymore with the trailer.

Thanks Mike. I have a friend here in Canada that works for the Transportation Dept. He tells me they never bother Motorhomes as they know we are recreational. I have not had any problems and really don't ask for trouble. We just like to get from track to track and have fun!!!

The Silverleaf was heart stopping when I got the price (10 grand!!! Ouch!!) but since this was ordered in 1996 with a computer dash it was my real only option. OR try and find an analog dash and re wire,,,, Since I did it I dont regret it ,,, although it did take me over a year to decide,,,
And the Mini Cup Holder is great because it holds a ceramic coffee cup handle and all,,,, neat piece!!

Very Nice!!! Did you happen to find any iPad instrument options?
I like the TV re-do also. These are two mods we are considering, if we keep our MH long term.

No iPad options yet but I am sure not too far off in the future. The flat screen mods took some thinking as we had to cut a cabinet out in the front to go with the largest flat screen we could and still keep some look to the project. The rear was easy as we used a flat that would fit where the old tube type came out of. An RV Dealer told me not to do it because I would never match the wood colour,,,, well as you can see,,, they are never always right,,,,
